I was with a man for 18 years and he abused me very badly and both my children, after I finally left him, he took me to court for custody of our 9 year old daughter and I got primary care but then he kept taking me to court over and over and in the end he has primary care of our 10 year old daughter and I am not allowed to talk to her and I only get to see her twice a month on weekends only. He was convicted of assault causing bodily harm on me and he did it in front of the 9 year old child, yet the court system decided that he should have primary care of the child. The 2 Judges that ordered this are allowing the father to come to my residence and I have no contact order against him and in that no contact order it says he is not allowed to be near my residence, so that will tell you that the 2 Judges did not even read the fact that he was convicted of assault on me. The 2 Judges are prejudice against women and that is why they gave him primary care of my child. When my child comes to see me she does not even want to talk to me anymore and we were so close. Her father told her that it is ok for her to hit me because he did and I deserve it. The father has made my child hate me and I am still trying to get primary care of her again, but it is hard because I owe my lawyer $15,000.00 and I pay the lawyer $1,000.00 a month and because of that I can not afford to live on my own so I have to live with my mom. I am 37 years old and I am having a really hard time dealing with this, but I know that I have to be strong for my daughter.
